Club Orka Hotel Annex

We ended up staying an extra night after our original 3 nights in May because the weather wasn’t good enough for the beach. We were welcomed warmly, the cleaning staff were friendly, and our room was cleaned every day. The standard room was compact and pleasant, with a TV showing local channels. The shower was quite small, but the bathroom itself was lovely. We also got two complimentary bottles of water from the mini bar. Breakfast was great and dinner even better 😋. For a budget stay, I’d recommend it if you want somewhere simple and quiet and aren’t expecting too much. I think it deserves a higher rating. Terima Kasih! We’d love to come back.

This was our second visit, and things were much better last year, especially the food. The internet is very bad, and mobile service works more reliably. Some basic dishes, like chicken and rice, were also an issue this time. Nobody seems to look after the outdoor children’s area, and the grass has grown very thick.

The pool was great, breakfast was good, and our room was spacious and clean. I’d booked a balcony room, but they gave us a one-bedroom apartment instead, which was a nice surprise. Parking is available, a real plus, though I’m not sure why the website doesn’t mention it. For the price, the hotel is excellent value.

The music carried to every room and played very late, so it was hard to escape the noise wherever you stayed. After I suggested it, the manager agreed to turn it off around 11pm. The dinner was amazing, and breakfast was lovely.
