Ant Apart Hotel

The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped, so they worked well for a couple or a family. It’s a convenient spot close to things, but still peaceful. The staff were cheerful and always ready to help, and the pool area was lovely. Breakfast had plenty of variety and tasted good. Ant Apart Hotel in Turkey was comfortable and enjoyable, and felt like good value. I’d happily recommend it.

We loved it enough that we’re already looking at booking two weeks next summer. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, with Babadag mountain views that were breathtaking. The location was fantastic, the food and drinks were great, and all the staff were amazing. Best holiday at Ant apart.

There were 12 of us, and all seven adults agreed this was one of the worst places we’ve stayed. Basic accommodation is fine by me if it’s clean, but this place wasn’t. The room floors weren’t cleaned during our two weeks. I deliberately left crumbs and hair, and they stayed there. Sheets were changed once, towels every three days. The bathrooms were dirty, the shower had mould, and its broken head kept falling off. There was a strong cat urine smell on the landing, and cats were spraying around the property. Outside, rubbish was lying around when we arrived. The beds were awful: springs poked through the mattresses and left marks on my back and legs, and the deep dips made us roll together. Broken fold-out beds were unfit for use, but adults and even my 14-year-old son had to sleep on them. Around the pool, sunbeds were broken and tied together with cable ties, as was the baby pool safety net. There weren’t enough beds, and we were told to move a guest’s towel so the manager could give one to a “regular.” The advertised TV had no working channels, and food and drink options by the pool weren’t properly shown. The site next door was another problem. A dog barked constantly, and trucks and lorries came in and out all day, making the road outside dangerous. Food was bland and overpriced, and the cocktails tasted like coloured water and cost too much too. Paying the food and drink bill at reception by card brought a 3% charge, which they said was because they are charged for card payments. Shops across the road don’t add that fee, so it felt like the hotel was just making extra money from guests. Staff were rude and seemed interested only in guests spending heavily at the bar. We waited to be served while they finished playing pool, which seemed to happen more often than actual work. The owner was worse, rude, argumentative and dismissive. When my husband raised the many problems, he said nothing was wrong. I have video of him arguing with my husband and son about it. This was an awful stay: dirty, uncomfortable, unsafe and badly run. I’d tell people to stay clear. There are plenty of other places in the area that are nicer, cleaner and better value. Don’t waste your holiday here.

We were six people there for 11 nights, and the kids especially loved the pool. There were loads of inflatables for everyone to use, and you could pretty much do what you wanted. We also had good food and drinks whenever we chose to have breakfast or lunch. The owners were the best part, always attending to whatever we needed. The bar staff were friendly and available, and the cleaners did a great job. The location is handy, close to good bars and restaurants, not far from the waterpark or hisaronu strip, with a taxi point right outside and a migros shop very close. The rooms are a bit dated, but that didn’t bother us since we use a hotel more as a base than somewhere to relax all day. My only real fault is that I think the rooms should have aircon. Still, that was minor. They even made a birthday cake for my 8 year old without us asking, after seeing his passport, and insisted on doing it. That was lovely, and I can’t thank them enough. I’d 100% come back if we booked again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
