Eda Su Artemisia Royal Park - All Inclusive

I booked this hotel just 24 hours before my flight to Fethiye because I couldn’t find good accommodation around Oludeniz. I thought it might be nice to explore the area, even though Ovacik is a little far from Oludeniz. The hotel is up a hill, and arriving on foot with two suitcases was disappointing, especially as my hand already hurt after walking about one km. But when I saw the view of the Babadar mountain, I’d forgotten the struggle. The staff kindly offered me a room overlooking the pool and helped me during my trip. I stayed two nights. The room was clean, simple, and very attractive, with a balcony facing the pool. The wifi wasn’t very good, and I had to go to reception several times to ask about it. That turned out to be nice in a way, since I got to connect with other guests, meditate, and read my book. Breakfast wasn’t bad, but drinks were limited to tea. It was a really good experience, and I highly recommend the hotel.

The mountain view is spectacular, and the swimming pool is magnificent. One of the best resorts in the Ovacik area.

This hotel isn't as bad as some reviews make out, but there are a few downsides. It’s near Ölüdeniz and Fethiye, though you’ll need to drive, and getting there without a car can be difficult. Our room was clean when we arrived. They clean if you ask, but don’t expect it every day. When we discussed it, they responded positively and offered to change the sheets every three days if we wanted. The air conditioning worked well, but there was no bin or clothes rack in the room. The food was tasty and filling, more like home cooking, with lots of appetizers and one soup, plus one rice, bulgur, or pasta dish each day. There wasn’t much variety, though. I’d expected a grilled meat, fish, or chicken option each day, and you shouldn’t expect a big buffet of fast food, grilled dishes, meats, desserts, pastries, bagels, or pancakes, especially if you have children. The biggest drawback for us was having to pay extra for drinks with meals. Water, tea, coffee, and other drinks all cost extra. At minimum, I’d expect water from dispensers and free tea after meals. Only breakfast tea was free, and they say bringing drinks from outside is forbidden. The bar staff were lovely, and the cold coffee, soda, and tea were well made. Some things, like soda, were expensive, while cold coffee was quite affordable. The pool is large and close to the rooms. In the evening the hotel and pool lights come on, and the place is quiet and peaceful.
