There was dirt across the floor and walls, including the shower floor, and small bits of rubbish were easy to see everywhere. I showed it to the receptionist and asked for a refund because I couldn’t stay, but they didn’t pay me back even though I never stayed. Agoda didn’t help with the cancellation either.

The food poisoned me, and I ended up spending my entire vacation in hospital, the day after I checked in. It was the filthiest hotel I’ve ever seen. Don’t stay at Katre hotel if you care about your health.

The outside of the hotel looks very nice, but the room I got wasn’t the one I’d booked through the website. Even the room light didn’t work. Breakfast was awful, and the staff were extremely disruptive. When I asked for water, they told me to get it myself. That’s not service. Late at night they played Kurdish music and talked loudly.

In all the hotels I’ve stayed at, I haven’t come across such a wide choice of food, such cleanliness, and such polite staff. Our four-night, five-day holiday was absolutely fantastic. It was perfect, and I recommend it to everyone.

We picked the hotel directly from its sign. The woman who welcomed us at reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms, pool, and food were all very good, and the location was perfect. For the price, it’s a very good hotel.
