Liberty Hotels Lykia - All Inclusive Hotel

The rooms were really good, and the facilities were top notch. Food was fabulous, with a huge choice every night, and it’s amazing how they make it different each time. The a la carts were lovely. The beach was gorgeous, and so were the patersserie, coffee shop, beach bar, help-yourself bar kiosk and spa. The staff were fabulous. Do try the turkish scrub and relaxing massage. We’d thoroughly recommend it for families, including mixed-age groups like ours of 16. There’s food all day. We arrived at 3am and the snack bar was still open! Entertainment was high quality, and football, tennis and padel were all fab. The slides were great, and the swing, jetty and pontoon in the sea were fab too. Take £'s to spend, as the Lira isn't desirable. It would help to have clearer instructions on booking and paying for the sports facilities, even a poster would do. Towels and mini bar supplies weren’t always replenished in our rooms, but we used the app to follow up and the issues were resolved. I’d rate the place 4.5 if I could.

The staff were what really made this place special. Johnny from entertainment was amazing and made our holiday so special, and his cousin Jakob was such a joy. The kids club was the best ever. The whole team were wonderful, including Meks, sparkle and Dilara, who my son Harrison adored because she was so caring and attentive. Merve at the main bar was fabulous, and our maid Ayse always left towel art and even washed the clothes we’d soaked in the sink. Our sea view room was lovely, but the lobby, reception, buffet and Ala carte’s were awful and need a complete renovation. We arrived to an awful lobby and no welcome Drinks, and lots of other guests felt like they were arriving at a 3 star resort. For us, this felt more like a 3/4 star resort. Would we stay again? Only if the price reflected the actual quality.

The grounds felt like a forest and gave us lovely fresh air, a real source of oxygen. The food was delicious, and the ventilation in the dining areas was excellent. In many other hotels you can smell yesterday’s food, but there was nothing unpleasant here. At the beach bars, ordering was very convenient. You scan a QR code and everything arrives quickly. The hotel was outstandingly clean, and the service team treated guests with respect and care. What struck me most from the start was the staff’s warm manner and genuine smiles. They seemed ready to help before you even asked, and served with full dedication. I especially want to mention Mr. Nafiz at the Ankara restaurant. He treated guests as if he were welcoming them into his own home. Anyone visiting should experience his service. This was a top-level stay for service, surroundings and cleanliness, and I’d definitely like to come back.

The beach loungers were another frustration. People held them for hours with rocks or towels, and the attendants never dealt with it. When we raised it, we were told loungers could only be held for 45 minutes and that we should let the beach attendants know. Why should guests have to enforce that rule on their holiday? The resort itself was beautiful and very clean, and the food was quite good. But the service was nowhere near what we expected from an all-inclusive hotel. Servers asked if we wanted drinks, then didn’t bring them or come back. If drinks are self-service, they should say so instead of acting like table service is available. It’s frustrating to pay for all-inclusive and still have to chase basic service. We brought the service issue to management. It seemed the manager spoke to one server, but the result was disappointing. The same server who had ignored us then became over-attentive, pulling out chairs and hovering in an exaggerated way that felt mocking instead of sincere. It was uncomfortable and disrespectful. There’s potential here, and the food was good, but the poor service and lack of professionalism really took away from our stay.
