Romantic Cave Hotel

We were there for one night and had everything we needed, including a spa bath. The breakfast was tasty and home-cooked, and the view was lovely. The town was an easy walk away.

There was nobody available to answer questions. Although there was an office, we were told it had been rented out, so there wasn't really a place to go for service. Our included dinner was served at another hotel, perhaps a block or two away, and wasn't very good. I didn't enjoy the included breakfast either, which was up at the very top of the hotel, and there’s no elevator. The pictures on the website also don't match what you actually get. This wasn't a good fit for our family group, and I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were very friendly, but the rooms were quite hot and had no air conditioning. Power kept cutting out, which made charging our devices and packing in the dark difficult. It seemed like they were trying to restore it. The hotel itself was alright.

Dinner was the meal we looked forward to most. The chef who cooks it each night made delicious food and greeted us with such warmth that it felt like eating at your grandmother’s house. Breakfast, prepared by another chef, was fresh and tasty too. The restaurant views added a lot to the experience. The hotel is centrally located near cafés, restaurants, and shops, and everyone we met there was welcoming and kind. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Romantic Cave.
