Manaspark Deluxe Hotel

The resort itself is beautiful, with lovely surroundings and good facilities. Most staff were friendly and attentive. Jimmy and Niomai, the spa lady, were especially kind and professional, and I really enjoyed my daily massages with them. But after a very traumatic incident during my stay, I was disappointed by management's response. Reception quickly moved us to a better room, away from the block where the man involved was staying, but nobody from management checked on me afterward or made sure I was okay. I feel they should have helped me report what happened to the police, but they didn't. It left me questioning the hotel's approach to guest safety and duty of care. There are good people working here, but the response from management during a serious incident and the safety arrangements need major improvement.

We spent a weekend here in December with my mom, and the view was the best. The food was amazing too, but what stayed with me most was how kind the staff are. You can tell they have genuinely kind hearts. There were lots of happy cats, and the staff were truly compassionate toward them. I hope the boss appreciates having such good staff and pays them well.

What a load of …… We were stuck in this hotel by force, not by choice. The room was filthy and below standard. For most of the week we had no hot water, despite calling reception several times. They kept saying someone was being sent, but nobody came. One day heavy rain kept us in the room for 24 hours, and even the jacuzzi was unusable because the water was stone cold. First they blamed a power issue, then a generator issue, then a national issue. When it rains hard, you're basically stuck in your room like a prisoner because nothing is covered or watertight. That's appalling for a 4star delux hotel. We'll never return, and we didn't choose to stay here in the first place. Another hotel, Orka SUNLIFE, kept placing us here without giving us any option to refuse.

Stay away from this hotel at all costs! I booked through Priceline.com for two adults and one child, with one double bed and one twin bed. My official confirmation clearly showed all three guests, but the front desk agent insisted the booking was only for two and seemed completely unsure of what they were doing. They then gave a ridiculous excuse that the child wasn't under 6, even though that had nothing to do with it. Another staff member said they accept children up to 14, but insisted I cancel and rebook directly on their own website at a higher price. It felt obvious they wanted to charge nearly double for the same room. Before arriving, I called several times to ask questions, but no one answered. When I brought this up at the desk, the staff member rudely dismissed me with, “No, you must have called the wrong number.” I've used Priceline.com for years, and this was the first time I'd run into a problem like this. There was no courtesy, professionalism, or customer service. Their only concern seemed to be getting more money from guests, and the whole thing honestly felt like a scam. I'm writing this so other people don't make the same mistake. A hotel's quality shows in how its staff treat people. If you don't want to risk a terrible experience, stay far away. They reported my review as spam, which now makes me understand why they have so many good ratings. What I wrote is true, and I can provide my hotel reservation information if needed.
