Monta Verde Hotel and Villas - Boutique Class

I loved the mountain views, including the cable car, and the complimentary afternoon tea and cake. Breakfast was plentiful, and I recommend the jam and peanut butter. We had lunch there some days too, and the food was tasty with good-sized portions. We’re already talking about coming back next year. It was my first holiday in Turkiye, and I fell in love with the hotel. It’s about 20 minutes from the main strip, which isn’t my scene, but there were enough restaurants and shops nearby that we didn’t need to go far. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were all friendly. I’m pretty sure this is the only hotel where the owner introduced himself and remembered our names all week. It’s a small, cute hotel, different from what I’m used to. I’ve no complaints, though the room was on the small side, and the bathroom felt a little snug for a plus-size person. We didn’t spend much time in the room, since the sun stayed out until late.

If you’re on a tight budget like I was and just need the basics, this place is fine. It’s quite remote, and if you’re after a nice hotel, you should look elsewhere. The staff are friendly, which helps.

The rooms were just okay and the location was a bit good, but the staff situation was really bad. It seemed like managers were putting pressure on them, and we saw staff arguing and swearing at each other. The barman spoke nicely to us, then we heard him swearing about us in Turkish. It wasn’t a nice experience at all.

This was our second visit in two years with the children, and we loved it again. The staff were warm, patient, and always ready to help. Housekeeping came daily and did a great job, always with a smile. At 5:00 PM they serve tea and cake, a small touch that makes the place feel homely. The manager is around, chatting with guests and helping create a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to Omar, Mehmet, and the two lovely young ladies at the restaurant for your kindness. My mother had an Indian head massage and said it was the best she’d ever had. The weekly entertainment was fun without being too much, and the kids absolutely loved the classy, talented Latin dancers. Thanks for another fantastic holiday. We can’t wait to return! Monta Verde feels like a real gem for a 3-star hotel. It’s stylish, spotless, and serves freshly prepared food every day. The pool area is gorgeous, and the relaxed decor and breathtaking Babadag mountain views made us feel like we’d stepped onto the set of The White Lotus.
