Ocean Blue High Class Hotel

The hotel is close to plenty of shops, pubs and places to eat, and having a grocery store across the street was especially handy for buying our own food. It’s near a bus stop, and a short taxi or bus ride from the beach. I think walking there might be possible, but I’m not sure, and it would depend on your fitness. The room was clean and had the amenities I expected, though compared with other places I’ve stayed it wasn’t spectacular. The cleaning staff and front desk did a great job. They even arranged a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave before breakfast was served, a nice touch. The hotel also has a nice pool, though I didn’t spend much time there, as I rarely do when I’m on vacation. Breakfast leaned very 'English', which made sense given the area’s clientele. More Turkish options would have been nice, but what was there filled us up, so it’s a moot point. I’d recommend the place. Just be aware that when I visited in autumn, the crowd was mostly older. That might have been down to the timing, and it’s not a big deal if you just want somewhere to sleep for the evening, but it’s something to consider if you prefer a more 'youthful' place. It may be different in spring or summer, so more research might be worthwhile. Cheers!

We cooked for ourselves because there are so many breakfast, lunch, and dinner options right outside. The apartment was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding. Ocean blue is in the middle of Hisaronu, and the staff were lovely. There’s food at the hotel too, and rooms and apartments to choose from. I’d recommend it for any age.

We came from New York for five days of downtime, and Ocean Blue High Class Hotel suited us well. The setting was calm, and we enjoyed evening walks nearby. The pool was roomy and clean, with plenty of sunbeds, while our comfortable room was cleaned every day. When the air conditioning stopped one day, we told the staff and the technical team fixed it quickly. Everyone was kind and attentive. Breakfast was fine, though a bit more choice would have been nice; it wasn't a big issue for us. For the price, we’d happily recommend the hotel to couples or families and would return if we’re in the area again.

The hotel restaurant was a hit with us: the food was lovely at every meal, and the prices were reasonable. We also had a really good night at the Turkish BBQ evening, which costs £25. Join in with the entertainment and it’s one of our favourite memories from the stay. The pools are great, and there’s a terrace with loungers and a hammock. It gets very hot up there, though, and umbrellas would help with shade if they could be secured against the wind. The staff are so friendly and ready to help. Rooms are nice, but some parts, especially the bathrooms, could use maintenance and an update. It’s a good value hotel, right in the middle of everything. With a strong entertainment team around the pool and in the evenings, it could be five star.
