Oludeniz Manzara Hotel

The hotel is a very quiet place on the third line. The garden is green, the room was clean, and the dishes were tasty. Special thanks to the kitchen chef and reception staff. It matches a 3-star rating well. Be ready to pay for a taxi or take the buses, which run every 10 minutes. Walking takes about 40 minutes, with a steady uphill mountain gradient.

The restaurant service was excellent, and breakfast was good. Our room was cleaned on the second day, and Pamuk is a lovely dog. We also had a nice room with a beautiful view of the city. Reception could use improvement. First, we were given the wrong breakfast time. Then, when I asked about laundry, one woman said it was a gift and we didn't need to pay. As we were leaving the hotel, another woman said there was a charge. I understand that time is money, but why say that? That’s why I rated the hotel 4. Also, if you’re taller than 175 cm, the bathroom ceiling is low.

I left as soon as I saw the place, after canceling my stay. The manager promised a refund, but the money never came back, so I’ll act according to the law. The difference between the photos and what I found was incredible, and Manzara Hotel didn’t meet my expectations at all. In my view, it’s the worst hotel in Turkey, and I don’t recommend it. My room was old, small, dirty, damp-smelling, and had dead insects and stained linens. The bed was uncomfortable, staff were rude, and parking was difficult. Junk in the yard and clutter blocked much of the view. Getting to the room also meant climbing lots of stairs. I think most reviews by people from Turkey don't reflect reality. Turkey is beautiful and its people are welcoming, but Manzara is an exception.

Our balcony door didn’t line up properly, so the balcony couldn’t be locked. The view from our room was a real letdown too: the ugly roof of another building blocked it, even though I’d booked this place after seeing its gorgeous views and now it seems only a few rooms get them. A lot of small things felt cut short during construction, which made the stay annoying, though it wasn’t horrible. The beds were kind of uncomfortable, the blankets were very thin, and the toilet seat lid wouldn’t stay up.
