The place had serious hygiene problems. Floors were dirty, spider webs were everywhere, and the furniture looked damaged and old, unlike the newer photos online. The cupboards were peeling, and the stained beds and pillows needed washing right away. There were no king beds, despite the listing. In Turkey, it is common not to use a sheet under the blanket. Black dust came from the air conditioners. The pool wasn't a hot tub as advertised. Mosquito repellents in the house may have caused respiratory irritation. Black substances came out of the bathtub jets, suggesting mold and poor cleaning. The tubs also leaked, so towels had to be replaced constantly to deal with flooding. Maggots and flies were coming through the broken bathtub seals. I hope no one books this place unless they can do something better. I WARNED YOU!

The sauna was listed, but its heater had been taken out, and the bedroom air conditioner was broken. The TV remote didn't work even after I replaced the battery. There were repairs needed throughout the house, and limescale covered the bathroom and kitchen. The villa was filthy, which was nothing like the pictures. I called for a cleaner, but they only gave the place a quick surface clean and left. I was so angry that I bought cleaning products and cleaned it myself. We had to wash all the dishes and bed linen too. When I complained, the gentleman said he'd provide fresh bed linen to make up for it, but we heard nothing from him until our final day. This was a really stressful vacation, and I want to warn others.

The pine forest around the villa smells wonderful, and there's a lovely view of Mount Babadağ. You're about 800 metres from the centre of Upper Ölüdeniz. The villa itself is a little worn, though most things work apart from the sauna. The water in the children's pool felt a bit cold. There's also a barbecue and a gazebo. For the price, the value is excellent. I'd recommend it.
