Star Hotel

We weren’t happy with the service. We added a child to the booking at the last minute and were charged for him, which was fine, but they didn’t provide a bed. We also couldn’t bring food, snacks or even our own water into the hotel. The beds weren’t comfortable, and the shower was horrible.

It’s quiet here, far enough from the nightclubs to avoid their noise, but still close enough to reach the beaches by public transport. The price is reasonable, and it’s a sweet, cosy place for families. The rooms, facilities and grounds are clean. The groundskeepers and service staff are really kind and friendly.

After seven hours of problems at Istanbul Airport, I just needed somewhere to relax. I found this place on Google Maps at the start of Ovacik, coming from Fathiye, and thought I’d crash there. I’m glad I did. The man at the desk did everything he could to make me feel welcome and comfortable, always with a smile. The hotel is family-run, and everyone was welcoming and ready to help with anything. The room was super affordable and more than adequate. I’d mistakenly booked an extra night, and they refunded that night’s charge when I checked out. They were very flexible about money. Food was also very reasonably priced, and it was so good I wouldn’t have wanted to dine anywhere else. Breakfast is a varied, good-quality buffet. Dinner is mostly a vegetarian buffet, also at a very affordable price, and the taste and quality were excellent. Highly recommended. They helped me arrange a paragliding trip at the best offer they could find in the area. My package included the flight, cable car and photos and videos for a price I couldn’t find anywhere else. They offered other activities too, but I was short on time and had to leave. It’s a quiet spot, away from traffic and noise, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. The Ölüdeniz bus passes the hotel every 5-10 minutes, so it’s easy to get around. The same bus goes to the Fethiye Dalaman Airport transfer bus station, which makes the location convenient in every way.

It was a lovely, enjoyable stay, with a wonderful clean pool and a quiet place to sit. The rooms are a little narrow, but the location is special and close to Oludeniz. Most of all, the management were kind and helped with everything. There’s also a car park. Thank you from the heart. I hope to visit you again and again.
