The best part for me was the view over the Sır Dam reservoir. The hotel sits in a lovely natural setting, though it’s a bit far from the city center, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Our room was clean, but the thermal facilities were a different story: the changing rooms, pool area, restrooms and Turkish bath area were very dirty. The thermal pool and Turkish bath themselves were clean, while the doors and windows were stained. The water felt moderate, around 30 degrees Celsius. The sauna wasn’t open unless we asked. Since it was off-season, the hotel was very quiet. There were plenty of side dishes, but only two main courses because there were so few guests. The food was like a typical local diner, and some leftovers from the previous day were reheated and served. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea were nice. It could suit families, but for the price I wouldn’t recommend it if you expect a luxurious setting.

The thermal water was pleasant, not too hot, and after a day or two it left us feeling relaxed and calm. The restaurant also has a lovely view of the lake and mountains, with places to walk nearby. If you have a car, you can drive down to the lakeshore to sit or walk there. All the rooms face the mountains and lake, though some have a better view than others. Our bathroom was spacious but a little dark, and despite specifically asking, we got a room where the TV wasn’t opposite the bed. The food overall could have been tastier, although the midday snacks were a nice touch. The pools could be bigger. The SPA and Turkish bath were closed during our visit, so we couldn’t use them. There seemed to be very few staff working then, and they could use more help. We finished our holiday with positive feelings and I’d recommend the place.

The place was spotless, and the staff were so attentive. Special thanks to the lady at reception and the one who showed us to our room. We stayed for a day and will definitely come back. A five-star experience, 10 out of 10. Highly recommend it! 👏

The pool area was especially lovely. It’s a beautiful place, and you can visit for the day without booking a hotel stay. There’s a Turkish bath and a thermal pool too.
