Sevilay Hanim Cesme

We came to Çeşme as four friends for a short break, but the warm, peaceful atmosphere at Sevilay Hanım Hotel convinced us to add two more days. We were glad we did. It’s simple and intimate at first glance, with a garden and terrace that are lovely for a quiet morning coffee surrounded by nature. Turgay was a big help throughout, and check-in was flexible. Breakfast was one of the best parts of the day: fresh, hot and tasty, prepared the way we liked. The rooms were spacious, the air conditioning kept us cool at night, and having a minibar and free Wi-Fi was handy. It was easy to drive to Çeşme Marina and Altınkum Beach, and the location is central, six minutes from Before Sunset and close to historical and tourist spots. The owners and staff were genuinely welcoming and quick to help whenever anything came up. Their warmth was the main reason we extended our stay. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but it’s a good fit if you want somewhere clean and simple, close to nature, with friendly service and a quiet feel. We’d definitely return.

The rooms were so clean and the furnishings were great, it really felt like home. The staff were incredibly friendly, and Turgay in particular took such good care of us. I highly recommend the place, it’s our new home in Izmir.

We were among the first guests at this wonderful new place, and the smiles and helpfulness made us feel welcome every time we came or went during our three nights in July. It was lovely to meet people in Çeşme who still take such pride in their work. Cleanliness matters a lot to us, and the room, bathroom and toilet were all spotless. Breakfast appetizers were delicious each morning. The hotel is close to the beaches, Alaçatı, Çeşme center and the market, and we were very pleased with the stay.
