Crescent Hasirci Hotel

A highlight of the hotel is the free tea and cake each late afternoon, brought with a smile to your sunbed or hammock. It’s a quiet, friendly place, beautifully run by a family. The rooms were cleaned spotlessly every day, and the gardens and pool were kept lovely. Everything worked, and even small mishaps, like us messing up the safe combination, were sorted quickly. The owners and staff were the most helpful and friendly we’ve met in hotels around the world. They’ll phone to check bus or boat times, and help arrange or advise on trips and walks. Nothing seems too much trouble. It’s a five to ten minute walk from the centre of Dalyan, with plenty of restaurants and water taxis. We didn’t have a bad meal, and the restaurant bills were a pleasant surprise. I rarely write reviews, but felt I had to recommend this hotel highly. The fact that the people we met there return year after year says a lot.

The hotel is in a prime spot on Turkey’s southwest coast, with comfortable rooms at reasonable prices. Service is to a high standard, and the food can be ordered in all sorts of varieties, with something to please every visitor. The hotel can also coordinate with your operators to find a suitable activity.

This well-established hotel is run by a lovely Turkish family and sits just outside the town centre. It’s self-contained, and they can arrange trips, barbecues, and other outings. That personal touch really matters.

We’ve stayed in two of their three villas on separate trips and also eaten at the hotel. The hosts have been excellent every time, and we’ve always had a great experience.
