We were a family of seven and had loads of space at Villa Amazon, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. Ozcan even brought chilled water while we relaxed by the large, deep pool. Though it was April, the water was warm enough for swimming and playing with the inflatables. The first few nights were cold, so Ozcan brought extra blankets. The air-conditioning can heat as well as cool, if needed. The villa’s in a fantastic spot, a short walk from the river and two very reasonably priced shops just two minutes away. We did hear dogs barking in the day and night, as well as cockerels, but that can happen anywhere and is outside Ozcan’s control. Dalyan was very quiet in April, though we had lovely weather and found the locals very friendly. We’ve done three jeep safaris in Turkey, and the one with Hey Dalyan and Brum Brum on this trip was by far the best. Thanks to Ozcan and his wife for a memorable holiday. We’re looking forward to visiting again soon.

We really liked having the freedom of this villa. It’s just a one-minute walk to two grocery shops and three to four minutes into town. There are three big ensuite bedrooms upstairs, plus a bunk-bed bedroom and a separate bathroom and utility room downstairs. Plenty of space for six of us, and the open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen were roomy too. The pool was warm and the same depth all over, with swimming noodles and an inflatable tyre provided. There were lots of new sunbeds, though a padded cushion would’ve made them luxurious. The three umbrellas and lovely palm tree gave good shade. There was a small electrical issue and a problem with one aircon unit, but both were sorted within 48 hours. If it’s available when we can come, we’ll most likely be back next year.
