Adempira Thermal & Spa Hotel

The sunrise views were a highlight, and even without the hot air balloons the surroundings are really pretty. We looked around the whole place, and the balloons in the background made our photos feel more complete. It was a short visit, but we enjoyed it a lot. The room was clean and looked well cared for, with a comfortable bed and facilities that seemed quite new. There was one small unfortunate incident with the service, but the experience overall was good. They have lots of amenities for families. Be ready for crowds. This hotel hosts group tours, and there must have been about 15 tour buses during our stay. The rooms were okay and fairly large, with a double bed and a single. The buffet food was decent and varied, served in a huge hall that could probably seat 1,500 people. Overall, it was a good hotel, just a very busy one.

The thermal pools were nice, though you'll need to bring your own swim cap. The room was spacious and clean thanks to housekeeping, but it felt dated, and the bed was wobbly enough to seem unsafe, almost like it might fall apart. Our room, 1209, was above the thermal baths and became very hot even in winter, so it could be uncomfortable in summer. I'd avoid that room location. Dinner was hectic with so many tour groups, and seating was assigned by Tuba, with no choice of table. The hotel also seemed to charge for everything: a deposit for a second key, water at dinner, and only tiny cups of water in the room. It's adequate for a short Pamukkale visit, but it doesn't meet five star expectations. It feels more like a group hotel than a five star one.

Our suite was far too big, and its one downside was facing the parking lot instead of the pool. We did get a lovely sunset over the mountains, though. The pool area and Turkish bath spa were beautiful. The buffet had a huge amount of food and a huge number of people. Service at both the hotel and buffet was great.
