Vural Termal Apart Otel

Vural’s quality seems to be dipping lately, while other hotels go up and down, and it feels like they’re relying on the hot spring facilities. Management, a little generosity goes a long way. Charging ₺100 extra to turn on the cooking gas and ₺50 for drinking water we didn’t ask for at breakfast comes across as mean. We planned to stay 2 days, but left after 1 night for a rival thermal hotel in Karahayit. It was cheaper and had better rooms and service. I hope Vural takes this feedback on board and improves.

The location is superb for getting to interesting places, from the travertines and ancient cities to mountains, caves, forests, and hills for hiking. There are even mountains to ski. We had such a good time, and our five year old enjoyed it tremendously. It worked well for us as a family, and I can see it suiting couples of any age too. Cleanliness mattered most to us, and the place absolutely delivered. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was freshly served and traditionally Turkish. The rooms aren’t luxurious, but they’re comfortable and spacious, with a thermal bathtub, a small kitchen and fridge, a big sitting room, and a separate bedroom. The hot pools with red thermal water were so relaxing, we nearly fell asleep in them. If you want thermal pools, time to unwind, and beautiful ancient and natural sights nearby, this is a great fit. Some people may want more luxury, and that’s fine, but we had nothing to complain about.

We stayed with my family for over 2 weeks and were very satisfied. The staff were friendly, and the location is surrounded by nature while still close to plenty of shops and restaurants. I’d recommend this hotel, especially for a longer stay.

I spent an hour comparing places nearby, and I’m really happy I chose this one. The location is awesome, and some rooms have a beautiful direct view of the hill, while others face the pool. I added photos of the window view. It was hard to find a hotel with this view, and there are no other hotels directly behind the complex. The balcony is nice, and it felt safe for a solo traveler. In the slow season, the rate was 300tl without breakfast, a good deal for the room size and amenities. There’s a thermal water tub in the bathroom with lovely tile that doesn’t stain brown like most places I saw, plus a fridge. You can ask for a kettle. The front desk staff know some English and are very kind. It’s only a 10-15 minute drive to the Heiropolis. There were dogs barking at night, but music or the TV could easily drown them out.
