This is one of Safranbolu's many old konak mansions turned into motels, and we felt the operating family's warmth as soon as we arrived. The owners treated us like family while remaining professional, kind, courteous, and prompt from the start. The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable. They preserved the historic features of this 300+ year old house while adding bathrooms that fit in nicely. There's a lovely yard with tables and swings, plus their own parking lot, a big plus in an old city with narrow streets and scarce parking. We fell in love with Safranbolu and Asya Konak, and would definitely return.
