The outside of the building looks lovely, but the rooms were uncomfortable and poorly kept. Calling it a historical heritage site doesn't change that. Our room had no wardrobe, just old-fashioned hooks on the wall. The bathroom was tiny, with nowhere to hang clothes, and I wasn't satisfied with the hygiene. Noise from neighboring rooms carries easily. You have to remove your shoes at the entrance and leave them on the rack. I suspect this is more about avoiding cleaning than preserving the building's history. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. Breakfast was very inadequate. We ate at 7 am, but the fries looked as though they'd been made at least two hours earlier and were ice cold. The sausages and boiled eggs were cold too. There wasn't much choice in jams or anything like that, just honey. No chocolate, just butter, cucumber, tomato, cold pastries, cheese, olives, and the like. The bread never seemed fresh or warm, even at breakfast, and looked like leftovers from the previous meal. We were on a tour and only discovered these things after arriving. Although we'd told the tour company when we'd get there, dinner was cold too, apart from the soup. Even the soup was poured from a pitcher into bowls.

A wonderful stay. Even though it's a guesthouse, the breakfast service was excellent, really superb.

Dinner was delicious, good and filling. We ate outside because the weather was nice, but in cold weather I think we'd have had to eat in the area near the mansion entrance. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very inadequate. They serve soup in the morning, which is a nice option for anyone who can't have breakfast. The rooms were clean, and the carpets were spotless even though I walked around in white socks. You take off your shoes at the stairs before going upstairs. There's a lot of noise because everything is wooden. Please ask people not to shout on the stairs in the middle of the night or inside their rooms. There's no one at reception during the day or night. The first aid kit was missing necessary supplies. I felt unwell at night and needed the hospital, but the front door wouldn't open. We called numbers we found online, and someone came to answer. What if there had been an earthquake or a fire at night in a building where everything is wood? I'm asking the authorities. The door was broken, but surely that isn't enough reason to leave guests unable to get out. If it can't be fixed, it should be left open so we can escape in an emergency.

They treated us very well, and I really appreciated the service. But with three people in the room, the setup wasn't comfortable: the toilet and shower were side by side, so you had to sit on the toilet to shower. The wooden room creaked, and conversations from other rooms came through clearly because there was no soundproofing.
