Kirimli Hotel

We only needed a place for one night after the teachers' guesthouse had no vacancies, and ended up being really glad we stayed here. Ms. Sevim was so friendly, easy to talk to, and attentive. We were happy with everything and would choose this hotel again if we return to Safranbolu. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting. :))

The staff are genuinely friendly, and the price is reasonable for a bed and breakfast in a mansion in Yeni Çarşı, with transport nearby. It’s a lovely place to stay in Safranbolu. I’d give it five stars if I were willing to pay for five-star hotels, but I’m not. Best wishes to everyone who stays here.

We got around the Old Bazaar on foot after taking a minibus down, which took only two minutes. The rocky roads there are hard to manage without a 4x4, and parking is a real problem, so the location worked very well for us. Ms. Sevim was warm and welcoming, and Mr. Mesut came across as cultured and modest, with knowledge across many fields. He also founded and designed the My Safranbolu Chocolate Museum. The chocolate scent and the pieces made from chocolate are fascinating, so I highly recommend a visit. We’d happily stay here again. I also appreciated that Kırımlı Hotel kept its accommodation price the same during the holiday while others were raising theirs. To me, that says a lot about its quality. Thank you for looking after us. I do question the good intentions behind some negative reviews.

We stayed once, but couldn’t bring ourselves to eat breakfast after seeing a cat eating scraps from a kitchen plate. The rooms are dated, and you can constantly hear people walking around. The hotel is near the city center, but breakfast was poor too: the margarine was made to look like butter, the food had no brands, and the boiled eggs seemed like leftovers rather than fresh.
