The warm, helpful staff and the well-kept, very clean hotel made our stay enjoyable. The building has been preserved in its original state, and staying there is a worthwhile experience if you love authentic Otoman houses. It’s in the heart of Safranbolu old city, an easy walk from the old bazar and the city’s other tourist attractions.

Sedat gave us a great welcome. The renovation and furniture make it easy to imagine the building as it was when it was first built, almost 180 years ago. I liked the modern bathroom tucked behind the old doors. The center is just steps away, and the garden is a lovely spot for reading in the morning or having tea or coffee after coming back at night.

Staying in this mansion was a great experience. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are helpful.
