We parked right in front of the Konak and walked all around the old town without any trouble. It's close to the attractions, but far enough away to avoid the noise. The place would suit a group of friends spending a night or two in Safranbolu. The Konak has been carefully maintained and renovated while keeping its original form, so guests can get a feel for how locals used to live there. Nurettin bey, the host, was friendly and helpful. Since this is his family business, you can really feel the hospitality.
