A beautiful place with good service.

We had a really enjoyable family holiday, and I liked this place. I'm writing so much because I researched a lot and had a few doubts before we came. The garden was beautiful, large, and especially nice compared with other bungalows. There was a covered dining spot, a barbecue area, and a separate place for a fire. The house had a nice shape and design, and was generally clean. The linens and beds were quite clean, though some windows, especially the bathroom window, were a bit dirty. Guests had checked out late during the 15-day holiday period, so they did a quick clean to avoid delaying our check-in. Even so, I wouldn't call the place dirty overall. The pool was large, clean, and warm. It rained a lot, but swimming with steam rising from the water was really enjoyable. The fireplace was pleasant to light for fun, and the underfloor heating kept the house warm, so we had no heating problems. I'd read comments about firewood. It's generally expensive in the region, so we brought our own from where we'd been staying and had no trouble. There are two rooms, one open on the mezzanine and one enclosed. There's only one toilet, downstairs, which could be inconvenient for some, and it's next to the kitchen. At times, drain smells reached the open area. That's not the management's fault, and opening a window clears it easily. We didn't open the window because we were in nature and worried insects might get in. Breakfast was representative, with some variety, but next time I'm thinking of bringing better items ourselves. There's a kitchen with enough utensils, and now that we know the setup, we can prepare more breakfast things and bring them along. It's a family-run rental, not a hotel. I'd seen reviews describing the owners as indifferent, even almost insulting, but I think they try not to intrude because it's a house rental. Whenever we called for something, they came and helped right away. With so many scams around these days, I also find a family business reassuring. It felt like a place where you could vacation with peace of mind. Thanks.

We had a wonderful couple of days enjoying the surroundings and the facilities. The big, well-kept garden felt like a break from the busy city, and the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. The house and pool stayed at a very comfortable, steady temperature, and the pool was a good size for a family. Being on the main street made it easy to get to what we needed. I'd definitely visit again.

Safety and privacy were the biggest problems for us. People kept coming in and out of the garden throughout our stay, and we felt very uneasy and unsafe. We were three friends, and the experience in this bungalow was completely bad. There were frequent power cuts, and nobody dealt with them. The advertised underfloor heating didn't work at all, so we had to keep lighting the fireplace to warm the house. We also paid a lot for firewood for three days. We had hot water trouble too, and reporting it led to no fix. The person we spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and disrespectful, and used insulting language. The sheets weren't clean, and the pool heating wasn't adequate, so the promised comfort wasn't there. We were very disappointed with the security, hygiene, and service. We absolutely don't recommend it.
