The rooms themselves were clean, but the outdoor area was neglected, including the garden equipment. The iron fences weren't covered with grass fencing like they look in the pictures, which made the house feel unsafe. One of the sun loungers was broken, and there was only one chair by the fire pit instead of two. When we asked for another, we were told the other one was broken and there was no spare; the chair they did have wasn't in good shape either. The kitchen was disappointing too. The cookware looked ordinary, but it was still dirty after going through the dishwasher, so we didn't use it. The electric stove was very inadequate. The open-air cinema shown in the photos was missing from our house, and nobody had told us in advance. We had to ask through their website, and they said they'd arrange one from another house. That's not acceptable. If guests are renting through an agency, that needs to be stated by the property and on its website.

I'd give it a 6/10, which is why I rated it 3/5. We liked the place, but the upstairs stairs were so steep that we were afraid we'd fall if we got up there half asleep, so we couldn't sleep upstairs. Thanks.

We came as a family and found the place clean and really comfortable. The service was attentive at all hours, and there was plenty in the house: two double beds, two bathrooms with toilets, two sofas, and all the kitchen equipment and utensils we needed. We'd brought our own things, but hardly needed them. If you're after a quiet, peaceful setting, this place fits. It exceeded what we expected, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends.
