Loft Black Sapanca

I’m glad we only stayed one night. The hosts were terrible. Check-in was supposed to be at 2:00, and we arrived at 2:30 thinking that would be fine, but checkout was at 11:00 and they came to our door right then. We were only ten minutes late and they barged in. I’ve never seen such disrespect. The breakfast they served was shameful. At 7500 TL, it wasn’t worth even a slice of cheese. The place wasn’t very clean either. Owners like that shouldn’t be running a business.

We paid 11,000₺ for two nights, yet when I asked for water glasses, they first said they only had what was already there, then sent one and called to warn me, “I sent it from myself, be careful not to break it.” The owners were very rude throughout our stay as two couples. I rented a house, but they wouldn’t even let my friends who were visiting Sapanca sit in the garden for an hour and have tea. This was my first time at a bungalow-style tiny house in Sapanca, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I hope anyone thinking of booking checks this review and looks into it.

We had a really pleasant stay and are already thinking of coming back soon. The breakfast they provided in the morning was better than we expected, and the location and cleanliness were both excellent. Although people were staying in the neighboring houses, we had no privacy problems; the setup had clearly been thought through. Everyone we spoke with was polite, so we couldn’t understand the negative reviews. Mr. Volkan was especially helpful, and communication with the host was excellent. We’d highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit.

The one issue for us was privacy. Although the garden walls are two meters high, you can still see into the neighboring villa, and people in the apartments opposite can watch you in the pool. That might be uncomfortable for anyone with sensitive skin. Aside from that, we were satisfied: the staff were friendly and attentive, our room was clean, and the pool and gardens were well kept.
