The construction noise was constant during the two hours we stayed, with steel cutting and drilling at the bungalow next door. That should have been disclosed. Getting there also meant a 15-minute drive up a steep, winding road, which the listing never mentioned. The place felt unfinished and dirty. The grill was old and rusty, the TV had no working internet, and there was just one air conditioner in the hallway, with none in the bedrooms or living room. The build quality seemed poor and the furnishings cheap. At over 300 Euro a night, we expected more than a half-finished, dirty construction site. It didn’t feel like the “luxury retreat” described, and it seemed to us that the owner was trying to maximize profit with little effort or care. The Airbnb and Booking.com photos mostly show one isolated bungalow, but there are actually seven packed close together. From the upper floors you can see into the neighboring pools and terraces. They’re divided by cheap artificial grass, with gaps where it’s missing, so there’s no privacy. We assume the reviews on those sites are fake and paid for. Look at the attached pictures and judge for yourself. This was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve had‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
