Really, really good.

Fantastic.

The view was the one good thing about the facility. We’ve seen views just as nice elsewhere, with better service, and I won’t return. We stayed in Bungalow 3 from March 25th to 28th, then were moved to Bungalow 5 after a series of problems. In the first bungalow, the remote controlled light wouldn't work because its batteries were dead, so an employee switched on a floor lamp instead. There was a constant strange noise from the toilet. The employee said they'd lowered the water flow to stop it, but the flow was reduced and the noise carried on. We asked to change rooms. They said they would, but nothing happened, so we called again and explained we were tired from traveling. The gentleman said he was waiting for the other room to warm up. We asked to move right away, and they agreed. The light in Bungalow 5 worked with a button, unlike the dead remote in Bungalow 3, but the room was freezing. The air conditioning wasn't enough to warm it. When we asked for firewood, the employee quoted 400 TL a sack. We explained they should have checked the noisy room before handing it over, that this was their responsibility, and that charging for firewood to heat the room didn't make sense. They said they'd arrange it, but the wood came an hour and a half later. We had to wait in the cold with only the air conditioning on. The jacuzzi was broken, there was no hot water, and there was a sewage smell. We ended up showering in cold water until the wood arrived. The shower door wouldn't close, leaving the bathroom soaked and slow to dry, so we had to shuffle in and out until it did. The outside door wouldn't lock, and the one time we went shopping we had to take all our valuables with us. Breakfast was supposed to be between 9:30 and 10:30, but on our last day, when we were due to leave at 12, it didn't arrive until 11. Whenever we called about something, help was late and there was always an excuse. For the cold water, they said we'd set the pressure too high and it wouldn't heat that way; other explanations were things like “use less water” and “I've reduced the pressure.” We've come to Sakarya for a few days every winter for the last four years and wanted to try somewhere different. We regretted it because we had problems here that we hadn't had at other places. They didn't even bring tea with breakfast, so we had to make it ourselves every day. We felt we'd wasted our money. I think the price was too high for a place with a broken jacuzzi, no outside door lock, no heated pool, and no tea at breakfast.

We stayed in Bungalow 6 this weekend and had a peaceful, quiet holiday in a very clean place. The view, surrounded by nature, was beautiful, and the house had what we needed. The heated pool was just the right temperature and a good size. It was useful having separate air conditioners upstairs and downstairs. Mr. Uğur was helpful throughout, and we thank him and the whole establishment.
