It’s a calm, peaceful place to relax, and the staff are friendly and quick to handle requests. The facility is spotlessly clean, you can smell it as soon as you walk in. I’d feel completely comfortable choosing it.

The room was awful, with hair in the towels, ash on the toilets, opened shower gels that had already been used, and a dirty duvet cover that was missing its matching cover. We had to keep calling reception to get things fixed. We’d booked breakfast, but there was no kitchen or anything edible, and they couldn’t even provide tea or coffee. We eventually cancelled breakfast. Meanwhile, hotel staff and their spouses had a table by the pool, drinking and sleeping, and carried on through the evening, focused on themselves instead of guests. The constant drinking was very disturbing. I’d strongly advise against staying here so no one else has the same experience. How can a hotel have no shampoo, shower gel, or even hand soap? We waited a long time when we arrived, and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

We had to use a different room because the guest in the one we’d booked hadn’t checked out. They said they were short-staffed, and the service was poor. The room was reasonably clean.

I’m writing all this so others don’t waste money or end up humiliated like we did. My friend and I booked one night, hoping for a pleasant day, but we were met by Sevda at reception, who was grumpy, indifferent, and seemed uninformed. There’s no elevator, and nobody helped with our bags. We were given a room different from the one we booked, and it hadn’t been cleaned. It had no towels, water, utensils, shampoo, shower gel, or liquid soap, and it was filthy. The manager moved us to another room, but it was worse. They said the toilets and drains were faulty, and when flushed, someone else’s waste came into our room. We put up with that, and they claimed all the hotel rooms were like this. But there was ash on the toilet, and staff came into the rooms to smoke. They apologized and told us to use the room. Again, there were no towels or cleaning supplies, all the linen had hair on it, and nobody was around. When we asked for something, the manager brought it. They kept repeating that they’d taken over the place and were sorry. They’d only been in charge for two months and hadn’t fixed anything, yet were still charging guests. The new towels were dirty and hairy. We asked for shampoo, but there was no liquid soap or shower gel either. The manager apologized and said they were out, and couldn’t even give us the one from his room because we might not accept it. There’s a market 100 meters away. It was shameful. Then they brought shower gel from another hotel, from another Marc, for us to use as shampoo. The pool area wasn’t clean, either, though the hotel was empty. The kitchen was filthy and staff used it as a mess hall. They said there was no tea or coffee service, and we couldn’t get coffee even though we asked. The owners had set up an alcohol table by the pool while we were trying to swim. The manager was explaining his problems to a naked man drinking raki at the poolside table. We’d booked breakfast, but when they wouldn’t give us coffee, we went into the restaurant and found an abandoned, filthy, unusable place. They immediately agreed when we asked to cancel breakfast. I wonder how embarrassing breakfast would have been. The next morning they said the pool was broken and wouldn’t let us in. It was very green and dirty. The only part of the hotel we could use had been the pool. It’s run-down from top to bottom. This is the first time I’ve written such a detailed review. We went through all this, definitely don’t go.

The place feels more like a home than just a hotel, and the rooms have been renovated, TVs included. It’s clean and spacious, the staff are very friendly, and the service is top-notch. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Anyone passing by should stop in.
