There were five of us women, and we booked based on the photos and ratings. They charged an extra 1000 TL for the bed because of our group size, and you can see in the photos what they brought. When we asked for another bed, they turned up with a ridiculous inflatable mattress that was impossible to sleep on. We said it was cold and asked for a duvet or something, but they said there was one under the sofa. There was only one, for five of us. The toilet and bathroom smelled awful, and the pool was filthy. They could at least have cleaned the edges. We paid so much, and even had to pay separately for firewood. The first day we reported that the upstairs lights weren’t working, but nobody came. When we called again on the second day, they came and said the lights didn’t work anyway. Why charge for a bungalow with broken lights? There were no mosquito nets or anything, the door was hard to open, and the garden gate wouldn’t close properly.

The place was very clean, and we had a lovely two-night stay in the beautiful August sunshine. There were a couple of small issues, which I can share if anyone wants to know, but nothing that changed my view of the stay. I’d recommend it and would come back. Prices seem to be almost half as much in autumn, especially October.

The house looked just like the pictures, and despite what some people had said, it wasn’t dirty. The pool water felt fine, but the chlorine seemed badly adjusted: our swimsuits turned yellow, and my hair and my four-year-old daughter’s hair became badly tangled and felted. We were two adults and two children staying over the school break, and the same price applied to houses with and without a jacuzzi. We couldn’t get a jacuzzi house because there wasn’t enough room, so we paid the same for one without. Ours was right at the front, and beyond the garden wall the area looked like it was being used as a rubbish dump. Keeping that space clean matters for the business, too.

We were unsure at first after reading the bad reviews, but after three nights there we were really happy with our stay. It’s a quiet, peaceful place, and the team was attentive. Everything was wonderful. Hope to see you again at MFA BUNGALOV 🙏

The owners were so welcoming and attentive, and I’m grateful for that. My children and I stayed four days and three nights at Sapanca MFA. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, and the pool was clean and warm. We’ll definitely return to Sapanca, and this will be our choice again.
