Sapanca Ruby Bungalow

The bed was extremely comfortable, the view was nice, and the heated pool was fantastic, even in February. The jacuzzi was okay. It was an easy place for us and restaurant delivery drivers to find, and the lake, restaurants, and shops were a pleasant 30-minute walk away. Staff also ordered us a taxi when we left. There were several problems, though. The bungalow doors don’t lock, only the garden fence does. Male staff tried to come in twice without knocking. The wooden stairs were cracked horizontally and falling apart. The bathroom needs renovation: the bidet handle comes off in your hand and the toilet seat is loose. The jacuzzi had burn marks on the floor and a broken headrest. It uses the same water heater as the bathroom, so after filling and using it, there wasn’t enough hot water left for a shower. They offered to buy groceries for us because the stores are far away, but charged much more than the items cost without explaining or giving an itemized receipt. The next day we went ourselves and bought equivalent things for a third of the price. The two towels provided were only enough for one day. We asked for replacements and were ignored, and the bedding wasn’t changed.
