Sapanca Sunday Bungalov

The bungalow was tucked away from outside view, with a nice garden and pool, and it was only about five minutes from the lake. The location in town was handy too, with a market and bakery very close. The grounds felt spacious, with things like a cinema and fire pit, and the pool was warm enough to enjoy even in cold weather. We didn't notice any bugs. There are lots of bungalows close together, so quiet really depends on how considerate the other guests are. Staff were kind and we were generally happy, and we'd come back. For 7.5k₺ a night, though, I expected basic things like water, soda, coffee, and oil to be stocked in the house. I also noticed cobwebs and hair, so cleaning could pay closer attention to those details. Thanks for your work.

The owner and staff made us feel genuinely cared for. Anything we asked for arrived quickly, and we felt valued throughout our two days at Sunday Bungalow in Sapanca. The place was very clean and comfortable, and the enclosed property felt safe and peaceful. We went in winter but the heating worked really well, including the room, water, and pool temperatures, so we still enjoyed swimming. It was a lovely break from the city, and we're thinking of returning. I'd happily recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, quiet stay.

The pool stays quite warm, so we could use it in the evening and at night. It's roughly 5 by 2.5 meters, a decent size. The restaurant's buffet breakfast was good, but they wouldn't let us sit in the garden since they said it was for outside customers. The property itself is in an excellent spot and has a nice resort-meets-villa feel.

The evening atmosphere was lovely, with lights, music, and a fire, and the pool stayed hot both morning and evening. Breakfast tasted good, though it was the same every day and got repetitive; asking how guests want their eggs cooked could help. We also liked Ms. Nursima. Each evening she put cartoons on the big projector screen for my son and was very helpful. He offered us coffee and tea while we watched, which was kind of him, and the blue-eyed gentleman was also very nice. They seem well-intentioned, and talking things through helped us sort out the problems. Special thanks to Nur Sima Hanım. There were several things that made the stay difficult. The TV stopped working again five minutes after the technician adjusted it, and the channel we wanted wasn't available. We stayed three nights and four days and had to ask four times for towels and rubbish to be collected. The day before we left, we didn't ask for fresh sheets, but housekeeping offered me a broom instead. With a two-year-old around a pool and stairs, cleaning myself wasn't realistic, and I shouldn't have had to. We put the barbecue rubbish in the container outside, but when we asked about the toilet bin, we were told to empty it ourselves. We worked it out after talking, though I don't know why it had to be that way. The double bed had no fitted sheet, just a loose sheet placed on top that kept bunching up and sliding, which disturbed our sleep and made me feel nauseous. A removable safety net for when small children aren't in the pool would be useful.
