There are shops and restaurants close by, and the hotel works well for a city or business trip. It’s right in central Salihli, with paid parking behind the building. My room was spacious and clean, the bathroom had a large shower, and the air conditioning was included. Breakfast was good and enough, and the place felt cozy.

The staff were good, and breakfast and the room were pretty decent. There’s parking near the hotel for 20 lira. But in the hot, humid August weather the air conditioning barely cooled the room, even after running for hours on its coldest setting. I slept really poorly.

It’s a small, somewhat old hotel, though fairly clean. The lighting felt dim in both the corridor and the room. My room faced a minaret, so morning prayers may wake you. Keep that in mind when deciding whether to stay. Breakfast was very basic, with bread, cheese, boiled eggs, black tea and a few Turkish side dishes. For a small town, that may be fine, but I wouldn’t expect much. We were only there briefly as temporary accommodation during the pandemic, so we put up with it. A friend suggested local souvenirs such as wine and olive oil. Other souvenirs could be worth considering too, since each city has its own character and strengths.
