Kuloglu House

We got friendly, helpful service at Kuloğlu Hotel, and the staff helped us with everything. It's also handy for shopping, with piazza mall only 2 minutes away. We spent one night at the nearby 5 Star Hotel Anemon as well, but our room was dirty and the staff seemed too tired to answer questions. It cost five times as much as Kuloğlu Hotel. If you're visiting Samsun, I'd stay at Kuloğlu Hotel.

The front desk staff were friendly and tried to help, and they moved us to another room when we asked. It was a little cleaner, but still not clean. In the first room, we found lots of hair left by previous guests on the beds, plus terrible dust and a lot of trash under them. The refrigerator didn't work and had no water inside, though it should have. We won't come back.

I've stayed here for years without any problems. It's clean, quiet, and well looked after, and most of the staff are nice. There are one or two grumpy ones, but apparently they'll be around. I still recommend it.

We were here for one night on a business trip. There are over 40 choices at breakfast, and it was delicious. The hotel sits on the main street, so for a quieter night's sleep, ask for a room at the back.
