My room was huge for one person and had plenty of old-fashioned charm. The compound felt relaxed and historic, with modern amenities, and it was clean and safe. Staff were attentive and tried hard to answer all my questions, even though I don't speak Turkish. Breakfast was set out at 8 am. It was basic but fine, with eggs, bread, fruit, olives, and tea. There was no coffee. The location made it easy to walk everywhere, and there were lots of places to eat nearby. Bus 63 stops around the corner and can get you to most of the main sights, including the archeology museum. I was there to visit Gobekli Tepe. I took the Havas bus from the airport to the city center for 160 Lira, then walked from its final stop, about 25 minutes to the hotel. I later learned I could have caught bus 63 near the Havas station and gotten within a five-minute walk. I'll do that next time. If I'm back in the area, this hotel will be my first choice.

The breakfast was quite good, and the hotel was comfortable, with clean rooms and attentive staff. It's close to places worth visiting. They let you park in front of the building if there's space, though there's no separate parking area.
