We arrived before our reservation, and Esin welcomed us so warmly. The food was a wide mix of Aegean dishes, mostly seafood and meze. My favorite was the cream cheese with green pepper. Everyone on staff was attentive. As the evening went on and wine and rakı got into everyone’s bloodstream, the music had most of the guests up dancing, to regional dances and others from further afield. Quite an experience. If you get the chance, come for the food and music.

The atmosphere is beautiful, the food and wine were delicious, and the people are really special. Mesut was the best server! We tried a bunch of dishes we probably wouldn’t have picked ourselves and loved every one. As he put it, “Forget the meatball, you can get a meatball anywhere!”

The atmosphere is really good, with the wood fire, and the live music on Saturday night was great. Still, this was probably the most expensive restaurant we went to in Turkey, with the smallest portions. They even charged for the bread. The hosts were nice, but the seafood was overcooked and didn’t seem fresh.

This is a meyhane, a tavern, not a hotel, so room and location details don’t apply. I couldn’t find another option for leaving a review, unfortunately. The seafood the waitress recommended was my favorite, and the dishes were delicious. Prices are a little high, but for me the location, atmosphere, and experience made it worthwhile. By the end, you’ll definitely find yourself dancing between the tables.
