Okeanos Beach Bungalows

The bungalows are new and nice, and the beach area is pleasant. But accommodation service was poor. Over our 4-night stay, nobody cleaned, changed towels, or checked the trash. Breakfast is meant to start at 10 am. We waited until 10:30 one day, and when we asked, the response was indifferent and impolite. There were a few other minor issues I won't go into. The facility itself is good, but management is bad, though some employees were well-meaning and polite.

There's not much to see here, and the umbrellas aren't good. The sea is rocky, so I'd suggest entering from the beach on the right. Sunbeds cost 100 Turkish Lira for two people, and beer is 55 Turkish Lira. Just a standard beach.

We stayed for one night on July 5th. The bungalows are comfortable, and the landscaping and seafront setting are lovely. But the hotel's physical beauty is let down by how poorly the facilities are managed. There was no welcome, no identification, nothing. When we got back that evening, it was pitch black, with everything shut and nobody around. In the morning we went for breakfast, but no one was there. We called and were told the chef would make it when he arrived. Breakfast itself was ordinary. With different management, this could be a much better hotel.

The new bungalows are practical and can fit 2-3 adults and one child comfortably. Breakfast could be served earlier. The sea isn't suitable for children, with little sand and rocks all the way down to waist depth. Bring water shoes, or be sure to get some. Have a great holiday.
