We spent five nights in Izmir Tatil Evi in Ürkmez with our Dutch family of five, and had a wonderful stay. The apartment looked great and was clean, with good beds, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. We also loved the fantastic garden, with a hammock and plenty of chairs and couches. The street was very quiet. We liked the host, Mr. Tonguç, a lot. He spoke good English and suggested some very nice restaurants. The windmill restaurant was especially fantastic. The weather wasn’t the best during our days in ürkmez, but we still enjoyed ourselves. For things to do, walk along the boulevard and visit Sığacık, a nice village with a market.

The host was so welcoming and caring. He picked us up at the airport at 4 a.m. after our overnight flight, then drove us back late in the evening on our departure day. That was beyond what we expected. He also let us stay in the apartment until 9 p.m. on our last day, which made it much more comfortable and meant we didn’t have to rush. The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We felt right at home during our fantastic stay in Izmir. This kind of care is rare, and we’re very grateful. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place with soul and true Turkish hospitality. 🇹🇷✨ Helena

The sea was so calm, with a sandy beach and not a wave in sight. We came as a group of 23 students for an Erasmus project, and the host welcomed us with real warmth. The setting felt idyllic, full of flowers and good cheer, and the locals greeted us with a smile from early morning, saying “Gudaidin” on the beach like they’d known us forever. It was a particularly beautiful experience.
