We visited in October, so I can't really comment on the sun or the sea. We still had a good time, and the staff were kind.

We had our own tent, though it seems you can rent one, and stayed for three days. My fiancé and I both loved the peaceful, nature-filled setting and spending time around the cats. The toilets and showers were clean, there are power outlets and lights, and there's a spot to wash dishes if you bring your own food. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had chairs but no table, and when we asked, they sorted something out right away. It's a 10-minute trip to Akarca beach and only 4-5 minutes from a market and bakery. The price seemed very reasonable compared with other campsites. We'd definitely choose it again for a relaxing camping break.

We came back after checking out of our hotel and extended our holiday here. We were even happier with the experience than with the hotel. The showers were incredibly clean, and I especially loved having hot water at any time and showering beneath the stars in the evening. The setting is clean and pleasant, the welcome was warm, and the people we met were good, helpful shopkeepers. Artists often stay here, which gives the place a great atmosphere. There's plenty of parking, and the beaches are a 15-minute drive away. We'd come back if we get the chance.

A calm, green campsite within walking distance of Sığacık center. We arrived as two women with our own tent planning to stay one night, but ended up staying three. It was busy during the season, with lots of families who seemed happy, yet it never felt unsafe. The management clearly cares about guests feeling comfortable and secure. Every tent has shade, with power outlets roughly every two trees. The owners are lovely and quick to help with any problem. They keep the toilets clean and look after guests' needs. A campfire is lit every evening, and people gather around it, so the place works for both relaxing and socializing. The campsite has a bar selling water, tea, coffee, beer, and more, at very reasonable prices. We didn't ask about charcoal, but guests can use the communal fire, so there's no need to light your own barbecue. The center is a 15-minute walk or a 6-minute drive. The path is stony, with just a short dark stretch. It's easy to walk during the day, but at night a car might be better. We hope to come again.
