We were only meant to stay four nights, but ended up adding three more once we arrived. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and Ümit and the rest of the staff were so helpful and attentive. We chose a regular room, though there are bungalows in the backyard that we’d like to try next time. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh, natural food, and there was plenty for us. I’ve seen some Google reviews saying otherwise, but that wasn’t our experience at all. It may have small drawbacks for some people, but we preferred the relaxed, family feel and the sense of trust over a pretentious hotel. We left feeling at home and would gladly recommend it. See you next time we’re in Sığacık.

We came as a family of three and stayed in GELİNCİK, one of five bungalows spread across a large, leafy garden. There are olive, pomegranate, mandarin, pear and other trees, plus a central gazebo and a hammock to use as you like. The bungalow was compact but practical and comfortable, with a ground-floor bed, a double bed on the mezzanine, and an L-shaped divan downstairs that I loved. It also has air conditioning and a TV, though we never needed the TV. The air conditioner doesn’t reach the mezzanine, so it could be hot up there. There’s a veranda at every bungalow, and we enjoyed having evening tea in a thermos there. Thanks to Mr. Ümit and Mr. Serkan for that. The tea on our last evening wasn’t very good, but that was a small flaw. The place is away from central Sığacık, so it’s quiet apart from some music from nearby nightclubs. In the early morning, all you hear is the wind turbines at the foot of the mountain, which felt like natural therapy. The center is less than a five-minute drive away, and the beaches are quick to reach by car. You can also take a peaceful walk by the sea in the morning. The view is open, and there’s little noise. Mr. Serkan and Mr. Ümit were patient and helpful from arrival to departure. There’s a small spot by the bathroom with a kettle for making tea, and they also have filter coffee. Cleanliness was satisfactory, though a few cobwebs are to be expected in wooden buildings. Mosquitoes can be an issue in the area, but we didn’t have any. Repellent devices were provided, though some needed refilling. Breakfast runs from 9 to 11, but we were usually up happily by 7. The breakfast was filling, with more food than we could finish. We ate out in the evenings to try other places, but I often saw Mr. Ümit busy preparing barbecue, so I imagine the dinners are good too. We’d originally planned a three-night, four-day break and hadn’t been thinking about bungalows. My wife first looked for a guesthouse in Foça, then we decided we wanted somewhere quieter. After seeing photos online, we contacted Mr. Murat, who I assumed was the owner, and chose this place. I don’t handle heat well, and the weather affected me even though we visited August 24-27. This isn’t a place for anyone expecting luxury hotel service and comfort, but we had a short, satisfying holiday and found a lovely spot by chance. I’d recommend it to people around me. We were happy to meet everyone, and wish them prosperity and plenty of success. Hope to see them again.

The garden was a nice place to sit, the staff were friendly, and the prices were good. The location also works well for visiting Sığacık and Teos, and I’d recommend it to cyclists looking for a place to stay. We rode in from Buca by bicycle, tired and sweaty, but waited over an hour to get into our room. The water took two hours to come back. They kindly explained that a pipe had burst, but having to wait around in the heat was inconvenient. Our bungalow room was clean, though very small and made me feel boxed in. The old, poorly maintained air conditioner was weak and made a frightening noise at night, like it might blow up. It really needs servicing.

We had planned to come for just a day, but stayed two nights because we wanted more time to enjoy the place. The sea view is gorgeous, and with no buildings blocking it, you can watch the sunset. I’d suggest choosing a bungalow. The atmosphere is lovely, and the whole place was remarkably clean, even the garden in that windy location. The toilets and showers were spotless, the faucets looked new and shiny, and the sheets were crisp white and ironed. The air conditioning worked well, though the nights got cool enough that we switched it off while sleeping. Breakfast was fantastic, with such a generous spread you’d pay a lot for elsewhere. They also offer different grilled dishes at dinner. Mr. Ümit cooked the meat perfectly, keeping it juicy, and it was so good you’d lick your fingers. He was friendly, cultured, and attentive, with a great way of looking after guests and a nice chat. Thanks to him, our two days were wonderful. I’d also like to thank the Uzbek staff for being polite and helpful. Sigacik is my number one place to stay.

Having breakfast with the sea in front of us and calming music in the background felt like a little paradise. The rooms and towels were clean, and we had no problems. The team was attentive from the moment we arrived until we left, and you can tell they love what they do. We would have extended our stay if we could. It’s a lovely place to unwind when you’re tired of crowds. I hope these sweet owners keep growing their business so we can all come back and relax again.
