Zeybek Hotel Ürkmez

The location was excellent, but the hotel wasn’t clean. The sheets had stains, and hot water constantly leaked from the shower sinks. Other valves were faulty too. The TV remote was broken and held together with tape.

It was a terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Traffic on the main road and the hydrophore/artesian engine noise on the 3rd floor kept us awake until morning. There’s no Wi-Fi on that floor. A 70 TL TL-link could fix it, but the lack of a customer-focused approach seems to have made that unimportant. They don’t take credit cards. The same number says the post office’s device is broken and one has been ordered :)) If, like me, you get paid by TEB Bank, the nearest ATM is 20 km away. Don’t waste your money, it’s a shame.

Zeybek Hotel was a complete disappointment. The rooms are run-down, and the shower water smells awful. The odors are unbearable. The man running the place, Mehmet, was inconsiderate, disrespectful, rude, and unpleasant. He gets drunk and acts high and mighty in the lobby. I’ve never seen such a terrible, disgusting establishment.

The staff are friendly and the price is reasonable, 180 TL per person per day for bed and breakfast. But the bread at breakfast was stale, and aside from the standard breakfast plate, there wasn’t much. The bed is quite worn, with springs digging into your waist. After a tiring day, you want to sleep well, and the bed matters most. Cleanliness was average, and the pillowcases were stained until we asked to have them changed. The sea is walkable, though not very close.
