Pikan Ephesus

The staff member we met was so kind. When I asked for clean mugs because ours were dirty, he brought them back filled with tea and some food. That was thoughtful, and the hospitality was great. The location behind the museum was also convenient. Still, the price didn’t feel justified. We booked at the last minute, but the room wasn’t as clean as we’d hoped, with stains on the sheets and mugs. Breakfast was at 8:30, after we had already left. The walls were very thin: we could hear our neighbor coughing and a party down the street while trying to sleep.

Privacy and quiet were hard to come by here. The room was small, and we could hear every word from the other guests through the paper-thin walls. We stayed awake until they stopped talking, so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want a peaceful night.

We were close to all the archaeological sites, and the breakfasts were really enjoyable. The people running the hotel were kind and hospitable, going out of their way to make us comfortable and get us what we needed. Such a beautiful place.

They were very kind to let us leave our luggage on the last day while we went sightseeing. The staff were always friendly and ready to help. It’s a simple, cozy hotel, and I’m grateful for their thoughtfulness.
