The owner was nice, and maybe I just caught the place on an unlucky, understaffed stretch. Still, this was the worst place I stayed during a month traveling around Turkey, and I wouldn't return. When I entered my room, the bed's headboard had fallen onto the bed, right where my head would have been. They said they were open 24 hours, but at 11 pm I couldn't get out because the front door was locked. I called and waited half an hour, with no response, so I gave up on getting food and went back to bed. That also seemed like a fire hazard.

The family running the place were mostly nice, and the central location was a plus. But the room was very basic, the bathroom was disappointing, and the toilet kept leaking. The shower doors kept coming off their runners. There was no WiFi during my stay and no breakfast either. I wouldn't stay here again.

My expectations changed as soon as I stepped inside. It's a simple, spotless hotel in a central spot, run by a very friendly family. We got a cheap rate without booking ahead, and the restaurant was really good, especially the lovely terrace. Best place I've stayed in Turkey, with no negatives for me.

Right in the town center, this is a very nice family-run hotel with clean rooms and a good breakfast. The rate was very reasonable. Perfect!
