Poseidon in Selimiye was a lovely place to spend the first week of August, with a delicious restaurant. The beach worked well for families with children, and getting out on a SUP was easy. We appreciated the staff's attention, care, and hospitality, and the chefs deserve special thanks for the tasty meals. I do wish the prices were more affordable. There's also a pier large enough to moor a boat.

We booked three nights but decided to extend from the very first day. The sea was calm, and we got fresh, clean beach towels every day. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of satisfying choices. It's a 10-15 minute walk or a four-minute drive to central Selimiye, with a very pleasant seaside route for walking. Our room was compact and small, but cleaned thoroughly each day. The place was peaceful, and the staff were polite and helpful. A relaxing holiday, thank you! :)
