Selimiye Houses

The little house was comfortable, with lovely minimalist decor and thoughtful details. Ms. Meltem made us feel at home right away, and we’re grateful for her hospitality. My wife and I spent two nights at Selimiye Houses last week, as the first stop of our holiday, and it turned into the most beautiful, peaceful break we’ve had. At night, the view is unique and everything is quiet; in the morning, you wake to the same view and the sound of roosters. It’s priceless. We went on someone’s recommendation and would gladly recommend it ourselves. We’ve already settled on where to go for future quiet, relaxing holidays. Thank you.

My wife and I spent last summer in the small house, and it was the most enjoyable, peaceful holiday of my life. Ms. Meltem is thoughtful and kind, even providing things like detergent and fabric softener. The house was hygienic and clean, so we felt completely at ease. Miço, their very sweet dog, came by as our breakfast guest each morning, and we were both sad to say goodbye when we left. There were kittens too, roosters crowing, and nature all around. They also have an arrangement with a beach guests can use. If we get the chance this year, we plan to stay again, and it’ll definitely be on our future holiday itineraries. I hesitated to write this because I don’t know if I want everyone to find the place, but credit where it’s due. I can’t wait until we’re back :))

We’ve stayed in the large house with Meltem Hanım and her husband for two or three years running. The house and its view are so delightful that I can hardly describe them. You can swim in the sea from the grounds of Umut Pension below, and the sea is simply stunning. Serdar Hanım and her husband provide wonderful service. The location is stunning, the views are unmatched, and the hosts are wonderful. A unique experience ❤️
