The location and breakfast were good, but the rooms and parking were poor. We were three families renting three rooms, and none of us were happy with the stay. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. If you’re looking for good value, you could consider it.

The beach is tiny and cramped, and that’s why the manager took our belongings from the loungers and put them on the ground while we were in the sea at 10:30 AM. He said he had problem guests to deal with and needed to make room on the beach. We’d been told checkout was 2 PM, but he insisted we had to leave at 11 AM because the signs said so. When we pushed him, he said checkout was at 2 PM, but we still had to get off the loungers by 11. We stayed one night only because we couldn’t find anywhere else, and regretted it badly. The manager put us in a very difficult position, and he didn’t treat the waiters well either. We were trying to choose between rooms, and he said the larger one had already been booked, within 15 minutes, so we could take the smaller one. He absolutely doesn’t deserve the money. We definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. They ruined our last night here.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of the peninsula, with easy access to everywhere. We had no complaints about cleanliness or anything else, everything was really nice. If we ever return to Selimiye, we won’t consider staying anywhere else, even though I don’t know if we’ll make it back. My family and I stayed during the week of August 2-7, probably at the same time as the family who left the negative review below. Room and bed preferences are subjective, and there’s not much to say about that. But I can’t imagine leaving a negative review for the owner, Ms. Nevin. From the first time I called to book, she showed what kind of person she is. She helped with everything we asked for over 5 days without a complaint. We left having made a wonderful friend. Ms. Nevin’s daughter Lara, and Gamze, Emre, and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They made us feel at home, and I can’t thank them enough. Regards and best wishes.

Nevin’s hospitality was outstanding, and every staff member was kind and went out of their way to help. When checking in, they even picked us up from the hotel parking lot on a scooter, which is a bit far away, and everyone helped carry our luggage both to the room and into the car. The terrace had a lovely feel, and breakfast was varied and delicious. We found this small boutique hotel while looking for somewhere to stay after deciding on Selimiye spontaneously. We had a wonderful time. Our room was clean, and the refrigerator cooled things very well. The pool is about 40-50 meters away from the hotel, so you do have to walk over, but it’s close and wasn’t a problem for us. We’d definitely choose this place again if we return to Selimiye. Please ignore the comments from people who came and disturbed the staff and guests during our stay.
