Letoon Antique Hotel

The room was comfortable and quiet, though I think we may have been the only guests in the building. There was no hot water, and remember to wipe down a chair before sitting. The grounds were overgrown, the pool looked abandoned, and chickens wandered around. The lobby was dusty and the front doors dirty when we arrived, though a man and woman greeted us. The kitchen wasn't working, so we had to walk a kilometre down the hill for dinner. Breakfast the next morning was simple but delicious. This place has a lot of potential, but right now it's in disrepair.

One thing made us uncomfortable: during breakfast and dinner, a staff member kept watching what guests put on their plates. Apart from that, this is one of the most beautiful and clean places I've ever visited.

Watch your payment carefully. One of the hotel's card machines apparently didn't accept our payment, so we paid a second time. Two days later we saw that both charges had gone through. They admitted the mistake after we sent bank evidence and said they'd refund us, but despite many emails promising to do so, we still haven't got our money back.

The staff were helpful and kind, but the facilities weren't well maintained. There was dust everywhere and the shower head was broken. This is the only hotel in the area, and although dinner and breakfast were included in the price, I still thought it was overpriced.
