The pools felt a little cold for the kids, and our room was somewhat dated, but those were minor issues. The atmosphere, delicious food and friendly, helpful service made our stay really enjoyable. The hotel itself is lovely, and we’d definitely consider coming back.

AQI Pegasos Hotel gave me an amazing all-inclusive stay, with tasty food, refreshing drinks and entertainment through the day. It’s well maintained, and the staff are friendly, attentive and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. I especially liked the easy access to the beautiful beach, with soft sand, clear water and plenty of loungers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There’s a nice balance of fun and relaxation here for couples, families or friends. I’d highly recommend it for a stress-free all-inclusive holiday in a beautiful setting.

This was our first time in Turkey, and we arrived late Monday afternoon, October 13, with family and friends. The resort is very nice, and we are enjoying our holiday. Smoking was a shock for me, since I come from a country where it isn’t allowed in cafes or restaurants. People smoke in lots of places here, even with many children around. The area is very touristy, and not all the staff speak English. Management needs to do something about that. We’re still enjoying our stay, thank you.

The rooms and the whole hotel look stunning, and the pools are huge. There are lots of slides at the waterpark, but my daughter found the metal steps and grating painful on her feet, so she couldn't stay there for long. We loved the beautiful beach, the many loungers, and the entertainment team, especially the water drums. The cleaning, spa, bar, and restaurant staff were all very nice too. The way complaints were handled left me feeling like an inconvenience. They had us sit there while staff discussed things over our heads in Turkish, so we couldn't take part in the conversation. My family and a friend's family were extremely ill during the stay and after we got home. My husband was unable to leave the room for almost the whole holiday. We had told the hotel he was unwell and reported illness to TUI, as several other families did, yet TUI told people no one had reported being ill. After I got home, I ended up in A&E with a bacterial infection confirmed as E. coli. I posted about it on Facebook, and at least 40 people said they, their families, or friends had been ill around the same time, just before, or just after their visits. Several others also needed A&E after returning. We weren't offered compensation because we hadn't seen a Turkish doctor. NHS guidance says not to see a doctor for vomiting and diarrhoea unless you're extremely unwell, and to isolate if sick, which is what we did. My daughter stayed in the room for two days, and I only started feeling ill on the day we left. We didn't drink tap water or eat food from outside before becoming ill. We washed our hands regularly and used bottled water to brush our teeth. The restaurant said food was kept to food safety standards, but as someone trained in food safety, I saw issues: the buffets had no proper sneeze guards, bread was left uncovered, and we saw people drop it on the floor and put it back on the boards. Food was often lukewarm or cold, and the foods meant to be cold were often warm because the refrigerated units had no doors. That wouldn't meet UK food safety standards, which set minimum holding temperatures. So, just a word of warning. I wouldn't go back.
