If the beach is your main reason for going, I’d choose somewhere west of Antalya instead. This place has nice trees and grass, a pleasant kitchen, and nice staff. Beyond that, it’s a fairly dependable, old-fashioned and comfortable holiday village.

We stayed at Robinson Club Pamfilya last year and are coming back next week. The food was a highlight, with fresh seafood and local dishes that were flavorful and carefully prepared. Staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, and the location made it easy to get around without long walks between places. The setting between the blue sea and greenery is beautiful, and the hospitality made it feel like a real gem on the Turkish coast. I’m keeping this at one star until I see improvements in how turtles are treated. Some management staff didn’t seem turtle-friendly when I visited. After meeting the actual hotel manager, a wonderful lady, I do think things may improve in this area soon. During turtle season, guests and staff should be told about the nesting and hatching on the hotel beach so they can learn about it and enjoy the occasion when the babies hatch. There’s a local turtle centre nearby that can help with information and education. Ask at the desk.

The big frustration was the sunbeds. To get one in the shade, guests apparently put towels down by 6:30 am and leave them there all day, even when the beds are rarely used. Staff don’t seem to do anything about it, unlike at other Robinson Club resorts we’ve visited. Outdoor dining also comes with a condition: you have to book the wine dinner deal and pay for at least one bottle from the wine list. Otherwise, you’re limited to indoor tables in a heated hall. Aside from those issues, it’s a very well-organized Robinson Club. The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak several languages. There’s a wide range of food at buffets throughout the day, plus floating drinks and free local alcohol. The rooms are neat and tidy, though we spent most of our time outside by the pools or at the beach.
