I gave it five stars with the understanding that it's more of a three- or four-star hotel. The owner is around at the hotel, parking is free, and the place is right by the beach entrance and next to a supermarket. Rooms are clean, though they don't even have a kettle. Breakfast is a set menu and perfectly acceptable, but there's no coffee. Staff don't speak English, yet they're always smiling and provide good service.

The staff are friendly, and the hotel feels clean, neat, and comfortable. It's near the beach but away from the crowds and noise. The photos are quite true to what you find there. Breakfast was good, though I wish there had been more variety.

Mr Adam and Agva Palas Hotel sorted us out when we arrived very late with my wife and three children and couldn't find a place that would fit us all in one room. The room was meant for two adults and one child, but Mr Adam and his son brought in an extra bed and did what they could to make sure we had a good night. He also helped us with the price and gave us a very good rate. The hotel was very clean.

A great choice for a family stay on the Black Sea shore in agva Istanbul. The service was kind, understanding, and non alcohol friendly. I'm grateful to hotel manager Adem and his team, who were helpful throughout my vacation and dealt with whatever I asked about, at any time.
